I’m going to be talking about how to stop hair loss in men. Hair loss in men is a very psychologically disturbing issue that most men face sometime in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Thankfully there are many treatments available for the treatment of hair loss.
|Option 1: The most common and popular treatment is called Rogaine or minoxidil (Search this term on the internet). It’s topical lotion or foam placed on the scalp twice a day. It can be applied to the front or to the back area of the scalp. It also depends on where the hair loss occurs.
Problem with Rogaine or minoxidil is that once you stop it. Hair will start to fall again. So, once you are on it, you will continue to use it.
|Option 2: The Second option two is a pill called Propecia. It’s a once-a-day pill that blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone or DHT. DHT is the main hormone involved in hair loss. So by taking the Propecia, you decrease the DHT levels. Thereby reduce hair loss ending in promote hair growth.Furthermore, there are vitamins that work to improve the caliber of the hair and promote hair regrowth. These haven’t been studied scientifically very well but many patients swear by them. Biotin is one there are other ones that including saw palmetto that a lot of our patients use.|
And lastly, hair transplantation.
If you don’t want to use pills or the topicals. You can transplant hair from the back of the hair with a specialized physician who’s experienced in that too the areas that are losing hair.
This technique of hair transplantation has been perfected and the transplant physician can actually create a very natural hairline that will make it very difficult for anybody who looks at your hair to determine whether you have hair transplant
That’s a brief overview of how to stop hair loss.
